The IRS announced an opening date of January 23rd for filing personal income taxes this year. The last day to file (without an extension) is April 18th. And so our annual fun time begins!
I posted Tax Organizers to your Secure Portal accounts last week (you should have received an email link). These are intended to help you get ready to file your taxes, but we don’t need them back unless you have massive changes this year. Let me know if you didn’t get your Organizer, want a much more detailed Organizer, or have any other questions gathering your tax documents.
Our 2023 Newsletter will be out later this week. Congress once again waited until Christmas to pass an omnibus bill that they didn’t read (or write!), but thankfully, most of the changes will affect taxes next year. There are some changes to this year that I’ll cover in our Newsletter or future emails. Stay tuned for that gripping reading!
