The IRS announced an opening date of January 29th for filing personal income taxes this year. The last day to file (without an extension) is April 15th. And so our annual fun time begins!
I posted Tax Organizers to your Secure Portal accounts earlier today (you should have received an email link). These are intended to help you get ready to file your taxes, but we don’t need them back unless you have massive changes this year. Let me know if you didn’t get your Organizer, want a much more detailed Organizer, or have any other questions gathering your tax documents.
Our 2023 Newsletter will be out in another week or so. There aren’t many big changes this year since we have an upcoming election and neither party wants to tick us off any more than usual, but there are a few “interesting” tidbits I’ll cover and a few other things you really need to know.
