The IRS finally announced an opening date of January 24th for filing personal income taxes this year. They also say the last day to file (without an extension) is April 18th. So, a “normal” tax season? We shall see! They still haven’t caught up after the last 2 years of “not so normal”.
I posted Tax Organizers to your Secure Portal accounts yesterday (you should have received an email link). These are intended to help you get ready to file your taxes, but we don’t need them back unless you have massive changes this year. Let me know if you didn’t get your Organizer, want a much more detailed Organizer, or have any other questions gathering your tax documents.
